Job summary

China Mobile International Limited (CMI) is seeking a Pricing & Purchasing Specialist to support sales and internal stakeholders by managing pricing, procurement and related approvals in the assigned region.

You will source and evaluate suppliers, prepare quotations, and coordinate with sales, finance, legal, and provisioning to ensure commercially viable and deliverable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years in telecom, local or international markets preferred.
• Solid understanding of telecom pricing models and commercial structures.
• Strong expertise in telecom product costing, solution pricing and margin analysis.
• Self-motivated team player in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin Chinese essential for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing and commercial support to sales by coordinating with vendors and partners to develop competitive pricing solutions.
• Source, evaluate and manage suppliers, maintaining vendor profiles for decision-making.
• Prepare quotations and support order placement, ensuring deliverability with provisioning and delivery teams.
• Manage vendor relationships to maintain market competitiveness and resource availability.
• Maintain vendor information, price books and sourcing documentation for auditability and controls.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, legal, provisioning) to ensure viable and deliverable pricing and sourcing solutions.
• Conduct pricing, cost and margin analysis and prepare related internal reports.

China Mobile International is seeking a Pricing & Purchasing Specialist (m/f/x) to support sales and internal stakeholders by managing pricing, procurement and related approval processes in accordance with internal policies and procedures within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing and commercial support to sales teams by coordinating with vendors and partners to develop competitive, cost-effective and timely pricing solutions.
• Source, evaluate and manage suppliers, maintaining accurate vendor profiles to support commercial sourcing and decision-making processes.
• Prepare quotations for sales teams and support order placement, ensuring proposed solutions are commercially and operationally deliverable in coordination with provisioning and delivery teams.
• Manage vendor relationships to maintain market competitiveness and ensure availability of off-net resources to support business requirements.
• Maintain and manage vendor information, price books and sourcing documentation to support auditability and internal control requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, legal and provisioning teams, to ensure pricing and sourcing solutions are commercially viable and operationally deliverable.
• Conduct pricing, cost and margin analysis and prepare related reports for internal review and management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry; experience in local and/or international telecom markets is preferred.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications pricing models and commercial structures.
• Strong expertise in telecom product costing, solution pricing and margin analysis.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required for business communication with relevant stakeholders.
