Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer Lead to head Supply Chain Engineering activities, including welding and large fabrication, with responsibility for design input and supplier process development. The role requires extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and nuclear industry standards.

You will report to the Senior Supplier Performance Engineering Manager. The position is fully remote with up to 50% travel and a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years Manufacturing Engineering experience in manufacturing operations (ASME IX; AWS D1.1, D1.4, D1.6 welding; NDE).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
• Professional Certifications: CMfgE, CWI, ASNT Level III, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supply Chain Engineering activities including welding, large fabrication, machining, and assembly manufacturability.
• Provide input to the design process and develop processes within the supply base.
• Lead supplier development and qualification activities for new products.
• Drive cost reduction within the supply base and mentor team members.
