Job summary

Circle is hiring a Social Media Lead to build its social and media function from the ground up. This fully remote role reports to the VP of Partnerships and Creator Growth and collaborates with founders, leadership, Community, Events, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Design Studio to elevate Circle’s social presence.

The role focuses on turning strong ideas, customer stories, partner moments, and long-form content into compelling social content that resonates across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for a tech, SaaS, creator economy, or community-led brand.
• Video editing and production skills with independent work in Premiere or equivalent.
• Fluency across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and understanding platform rewards.

Responsibilities

• Execute Circle’s social content strategy across channels and translate direction into platform-native output.
• Produce and publish social-first content with emphasis on short-form video.
• Edit video independently: cut clips, shape hooks, write captions, package content for distribution.
• Build and maintain the content operating rhythm: calendar, capture workflows, coordination across teams.
• Identify content opportunities tied to partnerships, events, community and customer stories.
• Collaborate on longer-form content so shoots suit short-form distribution from the start.
• Attend events to capture content and support Circle’s social presence with up to 25% travel.
• Track indicators like reach, watch-through, saves, shares, cadence; use insights to improve.
