Job summary

Distillery is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to stabilize and scale an AWS/EKS-based production platform. You’ll own reliability, observability, incident response, and change control, collaborating with engineers across browser, API, runtime, and cloud layers.

The role involves Terraform, Grafana-based observability, and building runbooks, dashboards, and automated tools in a distributed, 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years direct SRE work experience or similar, with reliability ownership.
• Extensive AWS production experience, and Kubernetes with EKS.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform and monitoring design.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve production workloads on AWS and EKS.
• Design monitoring, dashboards, and alerts from service metrics.
• Lead incident triage, postmortems, and runbooks.
• Automate operational tasks and ensure deployment safeguards.
• Collaborate across infra and application teams to improve reliability.
