Job summary

Hyland is seeking an experienced software leader to design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions. You will influence architecture, drive best practices, and guide cross-team delivery in a remote-friendly Poland setting.

You will mentor engineers, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality software releases across cloud platforms like AWS/Azure, using modern tooling such as Docker and Terraform. Strong English and Polish communication are essential for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with significant software design experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core, OO design, data structures and engineering best practices.
• Proven expertise in automated testing with xUnit; strong testing mindset.
• Deep experience with cloud-native and DevOps tech (AWS or Azure, Docker, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions).
• Experience in Linux/Windows environments, CI/CD practices and open-source tech.
• Strong API design and integration; GraphQL desirable.
• Mentor engineers; lead architectural discussions and delivery of high-quality software.
• Approx. 10+ years in software development, with cloud/DevOps exposure.
• Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and Polish (C1).

Responsibilities

• Develop complex code based on functional specs across teams, ensuring performance, security, reliability and quality.
• Contribute to software architecture; set implementation standards and guidelines.
• Act as a technical leader, sharing knowledge and coaching on best practices and trends.
• Articulate business value of changes to stakeholders and guide prioritization.
• Lead delivery pipeline design including test automation, security, and performance; author requirements and design docs.
• Mentor and coach team members; serve as escalation point for complex production issues.
