Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a European tax administration project for a public sector client. You will develop and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and ensure integration with multiple external systems.

You’ll work with a 20+ person team, deliver components, perform testing, estimate efforts, and contribute to roadmaps. Strong English communication and collaboration with distributed teams are essential, with a ForeverRemote culture worldwide.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and REST/SOAP integrations with messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
• Good understanding of testing principles and English communication

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications
• Perform system integration and testing, troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Perform unit testing of software components
• Participate in estimating project efforts and timelines
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to ensure efficient project progress
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization)
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes
