Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend experience with a focus on Java.
• Strong understanding of core Java (8, 17, 21) and data structures.
• Experience building distributed service-based applications using message queues.
• Ability to diagnose production performance issues in microseconds.
• Willingness to align working hours with US Eastern time during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software solutions for trading systems using core Java.
• Understand, develop, and improve subsystems used by other teams in the trading platform.
• Create thorough test cases to ensure software stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with operations teams to build new features and improve existing functionality.
• Support production issues, including root-cause analysis and diagnosis.
