Focal Systems is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve scalable production infrastructure for a rapidly growing, image-processing platform. You will design and operate cloud-based data pipelines, deployments, and observability across geographies to support millions of images daily.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in infra/DevOps, strong Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Prometheus experience, plus modern CI/CD and blue/green deployments.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at scale.
• Kubernetes, Helm and Docker in production environments.
• Strong Python background; reading and contributing to backend code daily.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform; observability with Prometheus.
• Solid CI/CD fundamentals and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).

Responsabilidades

• Design, operate, and improve core infrastructure—cloud, data pipelines, deployments, observability.
• Reduce costs and latency while maintaining reliability.
• Architect and maintain scalable, data-heavy backend infrastructure (Python stack).
• Build deployment pipelines with zero-downtime strategies at scale.
• Design monitoring and alerting to provide global visibility.
• Create tooling for engineers to access data across geographies.
• Collaborate with backend, ML, and embedded teams to evolve infra with product needs.
