Qualifications

• Proven track record leading graphics research teams and translating research into products.
• Experience defining long-term graphics research strategy aligned with roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term graphics research strategy aligned with roadmap.
• Lead investigation into next-generation rendering techniques including ray tracing and neural rendering.
• Oversee GPU architecture graphics features such as shader models and display technologies.
• Collaborate with RTG and GPU teams to transition research into shipping products.
• Publish and represent AMD at top-tier venues and industry conferences.
• Manage budget, vendor relationships, and external research partnerships.
• Provide direct management to researchers and engineers and conduct regular reviews.
• Develop growth plans and advocate for team members' promotions.
