Zusammenfassung

Physitrack PLC is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer (Security and Reliability) to own edge security, cloud posture and data platform across a multi-region AWS setup. The role is fully remote for Poland-based candidates.

You will manage edge proxies, WAFs, secret lifecycles and ISO 27001 audit readiness, while improving monitoring, alerting and incident response with a small, autonomous team.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in infrastructure, SRE or security engineering with strong AWS depth.
• Experience with edge techs: Envoy, nginx, Cloudflare, ModSecurity or Coraza.
• Production Kubernetes, ideally EKS, and Terraform.
• Operating PostgreSQL at scale: upgrades and performance.
• Strong observability with meaningful alerting.
• Security mindset: think like an attacker.
• English in a multinational team.

Aufgaben

• Own edge security and WAF rules across cloud and CDN layers.
• Design protections against abuse and traffic anomalies.
• Build detection and improve signal-to-noise ratio.
• Harden AWS: IAM boundaries, least privilege on EKS.
• Manage secrets and certificates across the platform.
• Produce evidence for ISO 27001 audits and security reviews.
• Run PostgreSQL/RDS across regions, including upgrades and encryption.
• Own Typesense/vector search and related data stores.
• Operate Grafana/Loki/Prometheus; set actionable alerts.
• Ensure logs/metrics flow from edge to stack.
