People Data Labs is seeking a senior data engineer to build ingestion and transformation pipelines at scale. You will work with Spark, Python, and SQL on AWS and Databricks to shape data for analytics and downstream products.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and solving complex data engineering challenges. A strong background in data warehousing and modern data storage formats is preferred.

Formación

• 5-7+ years of industry experience with clear examples of strategic technical problem-solving and implementation.
• Strong software development fundamentals.
• Experience with Python.
• Expertise with Apache Spark (Java, Scala, and/or Python-based).
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience building scalable data processing systems from the ground up.
• Experience using workflow orchestration tools (Airflow preferred, dbt, dagster).
• Knowledge of modern data design and storage patterns (partitioning, incremental updates, rebuilds).
• Experience with Databricks and delta/live tables.

Responsabilidades

• Build ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines for large data volumes using Spark, SQL, AWS, and Databricks.
• Develop a scalable entity resolution framework for merging billions of entities into clean datasets.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and anomaly detection systems to improve data quality in production.
• Propose and implement solutions to undefined data engineering and data science problems.
