Qualifications

• Experience building production data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and query performance optimization.
• Python for data transformations with modular design.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks).
• Familiarity with data models for analytics.
• Experience with containers or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines.
• Develop and operate ETL/ELT workflows for reliability and scale.
• Write production-grade SQL for analytics use cases.
• Model data for analytics and reporting (star schemas, incremental models).
• Develop reusable Python code for pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and data quality.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to define data contracts.
• Plan, estimate, and prioritize data engineering tasks.
• Identify risks and propose mitigations; improve data platforms.
• Document pipelines, schemas and data lineage.
