Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Freelance Clinical Database Programming Process Lead to drive a scalable, high-quality DBP capability across the organization. This 1.0 FTE role can be home-based in the UK, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain or based in our Sweden office.

You will lead governance, quality, validation, audits readiness, and technical leadership for complex DBP projects, coordinating across BU and supplier teams. A senior track in database programming with CRO experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 5- to 10-year database programming experience in CRO/pharma/clinical research environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of clinical database build, validation, edit checks, data transfer programming, database lock and EDC study setup processes.
• Experience with one or more major EDC/CDMS platforms and cross-system work.
• Understanding of GxP expectations for clinical systems, validation, testing, documentation and inspection readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a scalable, high-quality DBP capability across TFS.
• Governance model, roles, responsibilities, escalation routes and cross-BU forum structure.
• Quality, compliance and inspection readiness through SOPs, templates and change control.
• Provide senior DBP technical escalation support for high-risk issues.
• Train and mentor DBP personnel and develop onboarding pathways.
