Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Principal Database Programmer to oversee all programming aspects of clinical databases from study start through post-lock. This full-time, permanent role offers fully remote coverage within our European locations.

You will lead both the programming and operational study teams, collaborate with Data Management, Project Management, EDC vendors, and clients, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in clinical database programming.
• Strong experience with Rave and Veeva platforms.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages (C#, C++, VBScript).
• Experience with CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM).
• Experience with multiple CDMS systems and data management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead programming efforts for clinical databases from study start to lock.
• Develop, test, validate programs for client projects and third-party apps.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
• Interface with Data Management, PM, and external vendors to gather requirements.
