Job summary

Soccer Shots Southwest Las Vegas is seeking a dynamic Scrum Master to drive agile practices and empower teams across our remote setup. You will foster collaboration, coach on Scrum and Kanban, and help teams deliver high-quality software with transparency.

Join a mission-driven youth soccer program and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, removing impediments and embedding a culture of continuous improvement in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a professional environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile methodologies, and Kanban.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach and mentor agile teams on Scrum principles, values, and best practices
Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team progress and sprint delivery
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint metrics, and project progress to stakeholders
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables
