Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, Poland, seeks an experienced RTOS Embedded SW Architect to lead architecture for a next-generation embedded platform in home appliances. The role centers on porting software from a Linux-based platform to an RTOS-based one.

You will craft architecture for M3uC-based systems, author architecture documentation, and drive core components in C++ within an RTOS, ensuring quality and performance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge in RTOS-based development (preferably Zephyr).
• Strong C++ experience.
• Deep embedded software know-how with MCU experience.
• Experience in connectivity and UI development.
• Basic knowledge of security and encryption.
• Expert skills in writing requirements and architectural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust and scalable software solutions for embedded systems.
• Design and define the software architecture for M3uC based systems.
• Develop comprehensive architecture documentation and guidelines.
• Drive the implementation of core software components using C++ in an RTOS.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards and quality gates.
• Optimize software performance and resources.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
