Job summary

GlobalLogic in Kraków is seeking an ambitious Embedded Architect Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to a next-generation embedded platform for home appliances.

This role focuses on porting home appliances software from a Linux-based platform to an RTOS-based one, with emphasis on robust architecture, performance optimization, and diligent documentation. You will lead design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge in RTOS-based development (Zephyr preferred).
• Strong C++ experience.
• Deep embedded software know-how with RW610 MCU or multi-radio MCUs.
• Practical experience with AI tools/technologies.
• Experience in connectivity and UI development.
• Basic knowledge of security and encryption.
• Experience writing requirements and architectural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust and scalable software solutions for embedded systems within the LaundryCare domain.
• Design and define the software architecture for M3uC based systems, ensuring modularity and maintainability.
• Develop comprehensive architecture documentation, including design specifications, interface definitions, and technical guidelines.
• Drive the implementation of core software components using C++ in an RTOS environment.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards and quality gates throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize software performance and resource utilization within embedded constraints.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design integrity and alignment with strategic goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software architecture and embedded system integration.
