Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a skilled Radio Network Planning Engineer to design and optimize radio networks for mission-critical public safety and utility sectors. You will create coverage and frequency plans, assess tender requirements, and generate detailed RF network documents for pre- and post-sales activities.

Reporting to the RNS Manager, you will collaborate across APAC, EMEA and LACR regions, travel up to 10%, and work with HTZ/Atoll, GIS tools and drive-test data to ensure robust,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in planning mobile radio networks.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Interest in radio communications and GIS.
• Ability to write clear and accurate technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sale Discussing coverage requirements with potential customers
• Creating initial coverage and frequency plans using radio planning tools
• Evaluating tender requirements
• Creating input for proposals (coverage maps, descriptions, coverage statistics, site configurations)
• Presenting solutions to customers
• Post-Sale Liaising with site acquisition teams, transmission planning and systems engineers
• Creating detailed RF network plans including coverage maps, frequency plans, neighbour lists, equipment lists, and coverage verification plans
• Support coverage optimisation activities including site visits as required
• Analysing drive test data for optimisation and coverage acceptance and producing reports
