Job summary

N-iX CTO Group is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead architecture across a portfolio of enterprise clients, shaping technology directions and guiding multi-account delivery. You will mentor architecture talent, drive reusable assets, participate in pre-sales, and ensure alignment with best practices, risk management, and cost estimation.

We value hands-on delivery and cloud-native design across AWS/Azure/GCP, with senior leadership presence.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering and solution architecture experience.
3+ years in architecture leadership within IT services/consulting.
Proven ability to lead complex consultancy engagements with global enterprise clients.
Experience building from scratch for large-scale distributed systems (30+ engineers, 12+ months).
Cloud-native architecture with hands-on AWS/Azure/GCP work.
Strong background in microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and distributed design.
Coaching and team enablement in matrixed/consulting environments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication with engineers and executives.
Fluent in modern delivery: Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code.
English - Upper-Intermediate or Advanced

Responsibilities

Lead architecture visioning and cross-cutting strategic initiatives for enterprise clients.
Drive practice growth with frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets.
Build and mentor architecture and engineering teams across accounts.
Advise C-level executives on digital strategy and technology roadmaps.
Govern architecture implementation for maintainability and long-term value.
Lead discovery phases, assessments, workshops, and architecture audits.
Translate business requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
Own solution proposals during pre-sales and upsales with risk and cost estimates.
Lead project execution ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
Adopt emerging technologies aligning client needs with modern approaches.
Act as Chief Architect and lead a team of architects on complex accounts.
