Job summary

Prolific is seeking Aerospace Engineers to join our expert network for Open Source CAD Research in AI training. This is a freelance, fully remote role with ad hoc hours and payments via PayPal. You’ll contribute real-world CAD design challenges and validation workflows to help train next-gen AI models.

Selected participants complete a short screener (around 10 minutes, compensated at $12/h) and may undertake tasks paying up to $120/h. Strong CAD and Python scripting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design physical objects for 3D printing using open-source CAD tools.
• Write and run Python validation scripts to support design workflows.
• Document design decisions and tool usage for AI training.
