Job summary

Miratech is seeking an experienced NOC Infrastructure Administrator to join our team remotely. You will monitor, administer, and support Linux, Windows, and cloud-based infrastructure in a 24/7 production environment, participating in rotating shifts and ensuring system availability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of sysadmin experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Linux/Windows system administration experience.
• Experience supporting production infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with system and application monitoring in production environments.
• Hands-on networking knowledge: DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IP networking.
• Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V.
• Scripting experience: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• SQL knowledge and basic database troubleshooting.
• Web server administration experience.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, Jira, Salesforce).
• Incident management, documenting resolutions, and following procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for a 24/7 NOC environment supporting Linux and Windows-based systems.
• Operate, maintain, and manage Linux and Windows systems supporting production operations.
• Perform data backup and recovery activities.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and applications.
• Create and maintain environment-specific operating procedures and documentation.
• Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and group memberships in Active Directory.
• Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring system integrity and availability.
• Define, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve support requests efficiently.
• Administer and monitor cloud-based infrastructure and managed services.
• Develop and utilize automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Assist with patch management in Linux and Windows environments.
• Create and maintain operational, configuration, and knowledge base documentation.
• Lead shift operations when required.
