Job summary

iShare Inc. is seeking an experienced Metadata Developer to support enterprise-wide Data Governance and Metadata Management initiatives within a P&C Insurance environment.

The role focuses on developing, configuring, and maintaining metadata management solutions that enable business and technical users to discover, understand, and trust enterprise data assets. This role will collaborate with Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering teams to implement metadata capabilities using

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in Data Governance or Metadata Management.
• 3+ years with metadata tools (e.g., Collibra).
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience in P&C Insurance environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain metadata management frameworks.
• Configure Collibra workflows, domains, and governance processes.
• Design metadata ingestion and integration across platforms.
• Integrate with Databricks Unity Catalog and other sources.
• Build automated metadata synchronization and lineage capture.
• Support metadata quality, governance, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with data architects and governance teams on standards.
• Analyze metadata requirements and implement scalable governance.
• Support regulatory, audit, compliance, and risk management through data traceability.
• Create and maintain governance artifacts and docs.
