Job summary

Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager & Enterprise Data Governance Consultant to lead a strategic initiative for a large insurance client. This remote role serves as the liaison between executive leadership and project stakeholders, driving the design and adoption of an enterprise-wide Data Governance strategy and operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years leading enterprise Data, Analytics, Data Governance, or Digital Transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing large-scale Data Governance initiatives from strategy to implementation.
• Experience interacting with CIOs, CDOs, COOs and other executives.
• Leadership in designing governance operating models and decision-making frameworks.
• Strong program management, budgeting, risk and stakeholder reporting skills.
• Excellent consulting, facilitation and executive communication abilities.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead program leadership and stakeholder management across executive and sponsor levels.
• Develop and manage the overall program plan, roadmap, milestones, risks, and communications.
• Chair Steering Committee meetings and provide governance oversight.
• Define enterprise Data Governance strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Oversee governance operating model design including roles like Data Owners and Data Stewards.
• drive adoption of governance across business units and IT partnerships.
• Monitor implementation across pilots and source systems with measurable outcomes.
