Job summary

Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Insurance Business Process & Data Governance Consultant for a remote position. The role focuses on enterprise data governance within the insurance domain, driving governance across policy administration, underwriting, and claims while engaging stakeholders across functions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in P&C insurance, strong process analysis and mapping skills, and experience facilitating workshops to define governance requirements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of Claims Management and Policy Administration.
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops.
• Expertise in business process analysis, process mapping, and transformation.
• Ability to document requirements, flows, workflows and use cases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess current insurance processes across key functions (Policy Admin, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Regulatory Reporting).
• Document current-state processes and identify governance gaps and data management challenges.
• Develop future-state, governed process flows and ownership models.
• Create governance documentation: business requirements, use cases, processes, workflows.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and align terminology across departments.
• Support governance improvements and standardized operating procedures.
