Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to develop, qualify, and monitor supplier quality for equipment and components through the full lifecycle, including painting processes.

You will support HRSG and BOP/HRSG scope, lead audits, and drive quality improvements across international suppliers. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills, with readiness to travel domestically and internationally and to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgy Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in power, oil & gas, or heavy manufacturing.
• Proven ability to influence, communicate complex messages, and work without direct supervision.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor supplier quality from qualification through final inspection and shipment release.
• Execute supplier evaluation including audits, tender analysis, and onboarding with procurement and project quality.
• Prepare and approve Quality Control Plans, Inspection Testing Plans, and product testing procedures.
• Organize FAT, PSI, packaging inspections, and support 2nd party inspection organizations.
• Develop surveillance audit plans and SRG audits to ensure robust supplier quality systems.
• Manage SDR, NCR, and RCA processes and lead cross-functional resolution of issues.
• Review and approve End of Manufacturing Reports and final shipment releases.
• Review supplier painting processes and support supplier development in HRSG and BOP/HRSG scope.
