Slate seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to administer APQP, ensure suppliers comply with our Quality Requirements Manual, and lead KPI/scorecard initiatives. You will develop supplier performance metrics, drive improvements, and evaluate suppliers for production awards, while collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Formación

• Engineering Degree or equiv. or previous working level experience.
• 5+ years of Supplier Quality including site audits, continuous improvement, APQP, lean problem-solving principles and leading a team by example.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Experience with varied components (Stampings, plastics, seals,lighting, glass, latches, etc)
• Ability to identify process issues and drive improvements to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Strong working knowledge of value driven supplier KPI and scorecard development and implementation.
• Work directly with engineering and manufacturing regarding technical GD&T, and drawing standards training and review.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• High level of integrity
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.

Responsabilidades

• Administer APQP process and hold suppliers accountable to Quality Requirements Manual.
• Develop and implement supplier KPI/scorecard to drive performance.
• Evaluate suppliers for production awards and overall supplier quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing on GD&T and drawing standards training and review.
