Job summary

Transition Technologies PSC is seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong cybersecurity background to drive product development in a highly technical environment.

You will bridge Product Management, Security experts and Engineering, translating security requirements into high-quality features while shaping the product roadmap and strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Product Owner/Manager in the software industry.
• Hands-on cybersecurity domain experience (≥2 years).
• Advanced English (C1) proficiency.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Translate cybersecurity requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Prioritize backlog based on business value, risk and security impact.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management and security teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and align with the roadmap.
• Define and track product KPIs such as detection efficiency and automation rate.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate product release and patching processes.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong cybersecurity background, who will drive product development in a highly technical environment.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between Product Management, Security domain experts and Engineering teams, ensuring that cybersecurity requirements are translated into high-quality product features. This is not a pure delivery role – we are looking for someone who understands security concepts and can actively shape the product.

• Own and manage the product backlog (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria)
• Translate cybersecurity requirements into actionable development tasks
• Prioritize backlog based on business value, risk and security impact
• Work closely with:
  • Engineering teams (backend, cloud, security)
  • Product Management (client side)
  • Security experts / architects
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demo)
• Ensure alignment with product roadmap and security strategy
• Define and track product KPIs (e.g. detection efficiency, automation rate)
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an international environment
• Meeting with customers to present new functionalities, get feedback and understand customer's needs
• Own and coordinate product release and patching process

• English at an advanced level - minimum C1
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager/Product or Solution Architect/Lead engineer in the software industry
• Hands-on experience in cybersecurity domain (min. 2 years)
• Innovative by nature. Thinking out of the box. Proactive, highly motivated with a serious work ethic
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven technical skills and self-learning ability. Capability to thoroughly understand the functional and technical aspects of a complex system
• Proven Agile experience and management skill
• Ability to translate technical and security requirements into product features
