Job summary

Collinson is growing its Poland team and seeks a Lead Engineer to join a cross‑functional squad of around 5–7 engineers. You will partner with an Engineering Manager and Product Manager to design, build and ship scalable services that delight customers and deliver measurable business impact.

You will lead hands‑on development, review production code, mentor engineers, and promote best practices in testing, CI/CD, and cloud architecture across AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lead Engineer or Tech Lead guiding a small team.
• Strong full‑stack engineering skills and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Deep experience with automated testing and TDD (Jest, Pact).
• Ability to design, build, deploy and run cloud systems end‑to‑end in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and development of scalable software across client‑side and server‑side apps.
• Provide technical leadership for the squad and promote best practices in code quality, architecture, security and performance.
• Write and review production code daily, design and evolve APIs, ensure robust, maintainable, tested solutions.
• Collaborate with UX to build UIs and develop reliable APIs and services powering products.
• Mentor engineers at all levels and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
• Design, deploy and operate cloud‑native apps on AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Champion automated testing, TDD and CI/CD for secure, reliable deployments.
