Job summary

Collinson is expanding its engineering presence in Poland with a remote Lead Engineer role on a 2-year international contractor basis. You will be the senior technical voice in a cross-functional squad of 5–7 engineers, shaping scalable, cloud-native services on AWS.

You’ll design, write and review code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with a PM and Engineering Manager to deliver high-quality software, while championing testing, CI/CD and robust architectures across client and server sides.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Lead Engineer or Tech Lead delivering scalable software.
• Strong full-stack capabilities with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions.
• Hands-on coding alongside management duties.
• Cloud-native deployments on AWS using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Passion for automated testing, CI/CD and reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship scalable software across client and server sides.
• Provide technical leadership for your squad and promote best practices in code quality and architecture.
• Write and review production code daily; evolve APIs.
• Collaborate with UX to build user interfaces and robust services.
• Mentor engineers and foster learning within the team.
• Design, deploy and operate cloud-native apps on AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Champion automated testing, TDD and CI/CD.
