Job summary

Kinguin in Poland seeks a Lead Engineer for SDLC Acceleration & Agentic Tooling to spearhead AI tooling development and integration across engineering teams. You will drive the design of agent workflows, evaluation of models, and security controls to ensure reliable, auditable AI-generated code.

This role requires strong Go, Python and TypeScript, plus Git, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes experience in a major cloud.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Daily hands-on with AI coding agents from multiple vendors.
• Experience building AI agent tooling (harnesses, evaluation suites, MCP servers).
• Strong knowledge of agentic workflows and context management.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, and TypeScript; familiarity with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, testing, release management and security implications of AI-generated code.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and change-management skills.
• Fluent English; available to work Warsaw business hours (CET/CEST).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI agent tooling, harnesses, integrations, sandboxes and evaluation frameworks.
• Design and optimize agentic workflows for planning, coding, testing, reviewing, and documentation with human oversight.
• Evaluate AI models and coding agents to identify effective solutions for engineering tasks.
• Implement security and quality controls to ensure auditable AI-generated code.
• Develop automated evaluation processes to measure agent performance and improve delivery.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering teams through training and demonstrations.
• Continuously improve development workflows by experimenting with new AI technologies.
