Job summary

Netguru is seeking a Mid-level Java Developer to join the client’s engineering team and support a SaaS platform used by enterprise customers. You will be an integrated contributor within the client's software organization, collaborating with both Netguru and client teams.

This is a 100% remote B2B contract with an hourly rate up to 30 EUR/h (net). Working hours are 14:30 to 22:30 CET, with support during US hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of backend development experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Java fundamentals.
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate in distributed, international teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform backend development work as part of the client’s software teams.
• Support the client’s developers in daily tasks and project work.
• Provide assistance to the client’s customers during US working hours.
• Monitor and resolve issues outside standard European hours.
• Build and maintain features within the SaaS application and integrate ERP data.
