Job summary

Netguru is seeking a Senior Golang Developer for a fully remote, B2B contract role. You will develop and maintain backend services using Go, collaborate with product and design teams, and own the end-to-end development lifecycle.

There is also potential to contribute as a Fullstack with frontend work in modern JavaScript frameworks. The role emphasizes autonomy, strong engineering practices, and the use of AI-assisted tools to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Go (Golang) in production backend
• Experience building backend systems and APIs
• Experience in product-focused engineering teams
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and code reviews
• Cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Experience using AI development tools
• Strong English communication skills
• High autonomy with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang (and React if fullstack)
• Build features from high-level product requirements with Product Managers and Designers
• Own full development lifecycle: coding, testing, PRs, and releases to production
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality
• Work within fast CI/CD pipelines and push code to production quickly
• Collaborate with distributed teams in a fully remote setup and communicate effectively
