Job summary

A cybersecurity firm is seeking a technician to manage IT operations for clients and enhance their security expertise. Responsibilities include user management in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, onboarding laptops into MDM, and supporting first-line IT tickets. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in IT operations, proficiency in scripting, and a strong command of English. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, autonomy, and a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or systems administration.
• Proven admin skills in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Comfortable with MDM platforms like Intune or Jamf.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day IT operations for clients.
• Provision and manage users in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Onboard laptops into MDM and coordinate remote handovers.
• Triage first-line support tickets and escalate complex issues.
• Run weekly maintenance checks for security and backups.
• Document fixes and contribute to security projects.
