Job summary

Covert Special Investigations, Inc is seeking a Dallas Professional Investigator for hybrid field work. The candidate will handle auto claim investigations, workers' compensation inquiries, and develop strategic approaches to each assignment.

Prospective investigators should be self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to communicate clearly with clients and teams. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; travel across Dallas/TX is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of investigative or related professional experience.
• Valid Texas driver license or willingness to obtain; access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to qualify for Texas DPS Private Investigator registration.
• Proficiency with laptops, smartphones, Microsoft Office, and digital docs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex automobile claims including theft, fire, vandalism, staged losses, questionable claims, and liability investigations.
• Conduct workers' compensation investigations including AOE/COE investigations, scene inspections, statements, and evidence collection.
• Develop investigative strategies based on facts of each assignment.
• Collect, preserve, and analyze evidence including police reports, records, interviews, photos, and digital evidence.
• Prepare professional, objective, client-ready reports.
• Communicate regularly with clients on progress.
• Manage investigations from assignment through completion and adapt as needed.
• Travel throughout the Dallas area and surrounding Texas as assignments require.
