International & Domestic Sales Manager – Polymers
- Industry: Petrochemical & Polymer Trading
- Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Performance Commission (commensurate with experience)
About the Role
We move polymers — and we're looking for someone who can move them faster.
If you're a high-performing polymer sales professional with a live network of converters and manufacturers, a hunter's instinct for new business, and real fluency in international trade, this is a role where your results are directly and generously rewarded.
As our International & Domestic Sales Manager – Polymers , you'll own the full outbound commercial cycle end to end. From your first prospecting call to final payment collection, you carry full commercial responsibility for growing our market presence across both domestic industrial hubs and strategic export markets.
You'll sell across our extensive portfolio — PP, PE, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, PET, PVC, TPE, SAN, EVA, ABS, and DOP — to plastic converters, packaging manufacturers, automotive suppliers, and industrial buyers.
This is a pure revenue-generating sales role . No procurement. No sourcing. Just selling, closing, and scaling.
What You'll Do
- Outbound Sales & Business Development: Hunt and close new business. Target plastic converters, packaging manufacturers, automotive suppliers, and industrial buyers — and turn them into long-term accounts.
- Dual-Market Growth: Drive high-volume domestic sales across the Northern and Southern industrial zones while simultaneously expanding our international export footprint. You'll never let one easy market become an excuse to ignore the other.
- Account Growth & Retention: Build, maintain, and upsell a robust B2B portfolio through virtual meetings, presentations, and technical product discussions. Grow the accounts you win.
- Commercial Execution: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and contracts. Own the complete order lifecycle — from quotation to dispatch to payment realization.
- Cross-Border Logistics: Partner with logistics and operations to manage domestic dispatches and handle export documentation, Incoterms, and international shipping setups.
- Technical Value Selling: Understand each client's manufacturing setup — injection molding, extrusion, film blowing — to recommend the precise polymer grades that fit, and manage sampling and trials that convert.
- Market Intelligence: Track upstream crude oil, monomer trends, and competitor pricing to protect gross margins while hitting your volume targets.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience in polymer sales, plastic resin distribution, or petrochemical trading.
- Pure Sales Background: A track record focused strictly on outbound sales, business development, and distribution — not procurement or purchasing.
- International Trade Literacy: Strong command of global export procedures, Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR), trade documentation, and Letter of Credit (LC) processes.
- Network: An existing, active relationship network with plastic converters and manufacturers.
- Remote Discipline: Exceptional self-management, strong CRM hygiene, and the communication skills to run a regional pipeline independently.
- Language: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Fluency in the local market language is highly valued, and Spanish is required for candidates covering the LATAM market.
What We Offer
- 100% remote flexibility within a supportive regional structure.
- Highly competitive base salary tailored to your market experience.
- Lucrative, uncapped commission tied directly to your sales volume and gross-margin performance.
- Direct access to regional leadership and real, fast career growth.
How Success Is Measured (KPIs)
1. Core Sales Volume
- Metric: Total metric tons (MT) sold per quarter.
- Target: Minimum average of 1,000 MT/month (3,000 MT/quarter) to unlock progressive incentive slabs.
- Metric: Percentage of payments fully realized within agreed credit terms.
- Target: 100% collection. Incentives are disbursed only after payment realization — protecting both you and the business from bad debt.
- Metric: Ratio of domestic sales to international export volume.
- Target: An active, growing pipeline across both markets.
4. Business Development & Account Retention
- Metric: New active buying accounts secured per quarter, alongside retention of existing B2B accounts.
- Target: Consistent new-buyer acquisition plus a healthy renewal rate — sustainable growth, not reliance on one or two legacy accounts.
