Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Specialist based in Canada for a fully remote role. You will manage contracts, coordinate compliance, and provide legal guidance across regions while collaborating with an international team.

The position offers exposure to global investment structures and opportunities for leadership and process optimization. You will draft and review commercial agreements, maintain organized legal documentation, and liaise with external counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• A law degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in corporate law, commercial law, or a related legal field.
• Strong understanding of international commercial contracts, cross-border transactions, and compliance requirements.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing agreements with vendors, sponsors, business partners, or other commercial stakeholders.
• Excellent English proficiency at C1 level or above.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Remote or international working environments are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and standardize commercial agreements, including sponsorship, vendor, and partnership contracts.
• Coordinate documentation, checks, and due diligence for compliance procedures.
• Provide timely legal guidance to operational teams and executives across regions.
• Maintain an organized digital repository of templates, executed contracts, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel when specialized advice is needed.
• Support cross-border contract workflows and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Participate in daily handovers and regional coverage rotations for continuity.
• Identify opportunities to improve contract workflows and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to support business activities.
