Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant to guide our entry into the Chinese market. The role focuses on regulatory, cybersecurity, and data privacy aspects for cloud-based solutions, with a fully remote setup and international collaboration.

You will define security requirements, advise on hosting models, and map a practical go-to-market roadmap while coordinating across legal, privacy, and tech teams. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance roles.
• Expertise in cloud security regulations and data privacy.
• Strong knowledge of China's regulatory landscape, data residency, and privacy laws.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially Azure China.
• Ability to bridge legal, privacy, security, and technical considerations.
• Advanced English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess regulatory, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance requirements for China.
• Advising on operating models, hosting options, and cloud architectures.
• Defining compliance and security requirements aligned with global standards.
• Identifying risks and mitigation strategies for market entry.

• Facilitating discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Guiding the organization through legal entity and regulatory obligations.
