Job summary

Baltic Assist is seeking a dedicated bookkeeping professional to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and support business objectives for a remote Poland-based role. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, handle invoices, bank transactions, and reporting, while ensuring accuracy and timely data entry.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (or is completing studies) in economics/finance, has strong English, and demonstrates analytical thinking, teamwork, and independent problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or current student in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration or Finance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and its principles.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Independent thinking.

Responsibilities

• Handle primary bookkeeping: invoices, bank transactions, payments.
• Collect and analyze financial data from sources and input into system.
• Perform reconciliations of banks, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare periodic reports.
• Communicate with customers on accounting matters.
• Assist senior finance staff on various tasks.
