Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to visit customers across Poland to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and installation of histopathology equipment.

You will report to the Field Service Team Leader as part of the North Europe Service Team and work in a fully remote role with travel up to 80%.

The role offers the opportunity to apply technical skills and contribute to life sciences outcomes.

Qualifications

Educated in a Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical or Biomedical qualification subject or job-related experience related to the role.
Demonstrate technical ability in mechanical strip down of assemblies and a willingness to learn complex mechanical and electrically controlled medical devices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate with CRM tools such as SFDC/ Field Service.
Fluent Polish language in speaking & writing; English language is also required.

Responsibilities

Carry out on site installation and maintenance of various Histopathology and ancillary equipment.
Deliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submission of Salesforce reports, Expenses, Spares Stock management and other service documentation.
Work closely with Field Support Team to ensure all customers are provided with an industry leading professional after sales Service within the KPI’s set by Service Management.
