Job summary

3M is seeking a Field Sales Representative for the EMEA East Automotive Advanced Functional Materials segment. You will identify and win new customers across automotive suppliers, drive revenue growth, and engage with engineering teams to advance opportunities.

Travel up to ~70% and operate remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in chassis, e-powertrain, and body-in-white applications. Fluent English and local language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline with relevant professional experience.
• Experience in sales, business development, account management, or application development, preferably in automotive.
• Ability to identify, develop, and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Experience with technical products, customer specs, sampling, testing, or qualification processes.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to manage pipeline and reporting.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Fluency in Czech, Slovak, Polish, or Hungarian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new customers across the automotive supplier landscape, focusing on Tier-1 and Tier-2 accounts.
• Deliver revenue growth through cross-selling and portfolio expansion.
• Recover lost sales by targeted outreach and opportunity development.
• Leverage factory visits and on-site interactions to uncover opportunities and build relationships.
• Advise customers on product solutions across automotive applications.
• Collaborate with customers' engineering teams on new opportunities.
• Partner with Application Engineering for sampling, testing, and qualification processes.
• Present 3M solutions at OEM Tech Days and industry events.
• Execute territory and opportunity plans to drive quarterly and annual growth.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline with clear next steps and stages.
