Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Embedded Test Engineer to drive testing for an advanced ovens project. You will blend hands-on testing with test leadership, shaping the testing approach, coordinating activities, and ensuring embedded software quality throughout development.

This role suits someone who enjoys both technical testing and owning the bigger picture. Strong candidates will have embedded testing experience, Python/Pytest skills, Scrum experience, and knowledge of test management tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing embedded electronic systems.
• Experience with Python test case development and debugging (Pytest).
• Experience with Scrum process.
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Jira, Git, Confluence).
• Knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Testing of embedded electronics.
• Designing and implementation of test cases.
• Integration test support.
• Create and promote test strategy and test plans.
• Collect test results, summarize reports, and track progress.
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies.
