Job summary

CodiLime is seeking aData Engineer to design and operate Python data pipelines that move and transform data at scale. You will contribute across engineering deliverables and platform improvements, building reliable services and data models.

You will collaborate with Data Architecture leads and cross-functional teams in a distributed setup, delivering enterprise-grade datasets while maintaining strong testing, typing, and CI/CD discipline.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience with typing and robust code.
• Experience building and operating ETL/ELT pipelines in production.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Familiarity with Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
• English communication at least C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines in Python.
• Write reusable, well-typed libraries and internal packages.
• Develop Python services and APIs (FastAPI) to expose data to downstream apps.
• Model data in SQL/dbt on Snowflake for fast, reliable queries.
• Write tests and maintain CI coverage; ensure quality gates.
• Profile and optimize code and data workflows for cost and performance.
• Deploy code in the cloud and manage containers and IaC.
