Job summary

Cisco Kraków is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Developer Observability team, helping design, build, and maintain high-quality Python applications and data pipelines that scale. You will play a key role in setting engineering standards and driving best practices across the team.

You’ll write readable, maintainable Python code, work with REST APIs and data processing, and contribute to testing, reviews, and automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python fundamentals, data structures, functions, modules, classes, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python applications, services, engineering tools, and data pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and tested Python code following best practices.
• Work with APIs, data processing, automation, and integrations to solve engineering problems.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, improve existing code, and participate in code reviews and discussions.
• Learn and apply technologies such as Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, AWS, CI/CD, and containerized environments.
