Job summary

Emerging Travel Group is seeking a data analyst for the Business Analytics team to own the analytics for our B2B commercial direction. You’ll work with the commercial team, design experiments, and measure the impact of pricing and market strategies.

You’ll have ownership over projects, apply causal methods, and influence decisions across markets while growing with the company as it expands. Remote-friendly environment and structured onboarding are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business, data or product analytics.
• Strong SQL, including writing efficient, fast-running queries.
• Confident Python and its data libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn and others.
• Hands-on experience with difference-in-differences.
• Experience with causal inference methods: Causal Impact, Propensity Score Matching and similar.
• Solid knowledge of statistics and experience designing and running A/B tests and other experiments.
• Ability to dive deep into business processes, solve non-standard problems and work independently.
• Fluent Russian and English B2.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop pricing override and cost modifier processes.
• Design experiments around credit limits for B2B partners to grow bookings.
• Evaluate the financial and customer impact of opening local entities in new markets.
• Apply methods beyond A/B testing; such as difference-in-differences or causal impact.
• Collaborate with project managers to run the work and set approaches.
