Job summary

Intuition Machines, Inc. is seeking a Fraud Detection Analyst to monitor and investigate fraudulent activities across diverse data sources.

You will analyze financial transactions and web traffic, identify risks, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Support to strengthen detection and prevention. The role requires 3+ years in fraud detection or related fields, proficiency with SQL and Python, and strong analytical and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fraud detection or risk management.
• Proficiency in SQL and ideally Python for data analysis.
• In-depth understanding of fraud detection methodologies and landscape.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving with an analytical mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration in English across teams.
• Familiarity with analysis of web-based and API abuse.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, identify, and analyze events from diverse data sources to detect and respond to fraudulent activities.
• Conduct advanced investigations of suspected fraud, analyzing behavior patterns and anomalies to assess risk and determine actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Customer Support, to enhance fraud detection and prevention strategies.
• Help build and align fraud detection automation, dashboards, and reports.
• Continuously audit and refine fraud detection measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay informed of emerging fraud trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to keep our fraud prevention strategies up-to-date.
