Job summary

Intuition Machines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our remote security team, focusing on bot detection, web traffic analysis, and deep behavioral analytics within the hCaptcha SaaS platform.

You will lead investigations and collaborate with global teams to improve detection accuracy and incident response. Responsibilities include coordinating threat hunting, producing security metrics, and refining SOPs while aligning with Product and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Experience with web/API security, WAFs, and botnets.
• Hands-on SQL proficiency demonstrated.
• Knowledge of production web environments and Kubernetes.
• Threat hunting in Web/API, web data analysis, or WAF hands-on.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and security trends.
• Proficient in scripting/programming (JavaScript, Python).
• Data-driven, collaborative, and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze events from multiple sources to detect threats and respond with urgency.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to complete tasks.
• Collect metrics to measure Security Operations effectiveness.
• Audit security controls to ensure compliance with norms.
• Assist in implementing security policies and procedures.
• Fine-tune processes and update standard operating procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and threat hunting engagements.
• Work with Product, Customer Success, and other internal teams.
