Job summary

Intuition Machines, Inc. is seeking a Fraud Detection Analyst to monitor and investigate fraudulent activities across diverse data sources.

You will analyze financial transactions and web traffic, identify risks, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Support to strengthen detection and prevention. The role requires 3+ years in fraud detection or related fields, proficiency with SQL and Python, and strong analytical and communication skills in English.

• Stay informed of emerging fraud trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to keep our fraud prevention strategies up-to-date.

Intuition Machines uses AI/ML to build enterprise security products. We apply our research to systems that serve hundreds of millions of people, with a team distributed around the world. You are probably familiar with our best-known product, the hCaptcha security suite. Our approach is simple: low overhead, small teams, and rapid iteration.

Using AI: Coding agents are indisputably useful tools. We provide access to the top 3 models, and were early adopters of evals-first development flows. Familiarity with coding using agents is part of all interviews. However, reliability and correctness are critical for us. You will need to read and understand every line of code with your name on it, and it will be reviewed by both people and machines.

What will you do:

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fraud detection, financial data analysis, risk management, or trust & safety
• Proficiency in SQL and ideally Python for data analysis and visualization
• In-depth understanding of fraud detection methodologies and the fraud landscape
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, able to work effectively across teams
• Familiarity with the analysis of web-based and API abuse

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with web security and secure configuration practices
• Interest in staying current with industry trends and fraud prevention technologies
• Familiarity with modern fraud machine learning practices
• Holding a valid CFE, CFS, CFF, or CISA certification is a plus
