Job summary

Astor Simovitch Law is seeking a Paralegal to join our remote civil litigation team in Florida. You’ll serve as the main contact for clients and professionals, track deadlines, draft pleadings and motions, and support attorneys for hearings and case management.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a law firm, strong Florida court knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, Zoom, and Clio. Remote work is fully supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of law firm experience, including at least 2 years in civil litigation.
• Strong working knowledge of Florida courts and e‑filing.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, and Clio (Grow + Manage).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a main point of contact for clients, experts, and professionals.
• Track deadlines and manage case timelines using digital tools.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal forms, reports, letters, and indexes.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and managing caseloads.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
• Maintain accurate digital records using Clio and other legal tech platforms.
