Job summary

Tenvalleys is seeking a Mid Java Developer to build and modernise backend systems in a microservices environment for enterprise clients. You will join a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, testers and DevOps engineers delivering for years, under Agile/Scrum practices.

You will design and maintain Java applications, upgrade services to current Java versions, and integrate systems through REST APIs while collaborating with analysts, testers, and DevOps in a modern DevOps setup.

Qualifications

2–4 years of commercial Java development experience.
Strong Spring Boot and Spring Cloud expertise.
Backend services designed in a microservices architecture.
Experience modernising legacy code, migrating Java versions is a plus.
Knowledge of REST APIs and message brokers (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ).
Proficient SQL with relational databases (Oracle preferred).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in development and deployment.
Git and CI/CD practices familiar to you.
Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional collaboration.
Open to using AI tools; Camunda, Angular/React TS are pluses.
Fluent Polish and English communication.
