Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Java Application Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot. You’ll work across backend services and frontend React components, delivering RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend systems in a microservices, agile environment.

The role emphasizes clean code, performance, security, and maintainability, with collaboration across product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Java development experience (Java 8+)
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience (REST APIs, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with React.js (functional components, hooks, state management)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience integrating React apps with backend APIs
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and JSON
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA
• Git and version control workflows
• CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
• Nice-to-have Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with Redux or Context API
• Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest)
• Agile/Scrum development practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Spring Boot
• Build responsive UI components using React
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
